Between The Bread Opens Its Third Eatery In Chelsea’s Terminal Warehouse, And It’s Absolutely Delicious

Between the Bread opened its first eatery in 1979 with the mission of changing how people perceived what a meal could be in a corporate setting. Incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients to create its menu, Between the Bread has quickly risen to become one of the most beloved caterer and eatery in New York City.

Between the Bread opened its third outpost in Chelsea at the revamped Terminal Warehouse. Go take a visit now to try its delicious, healthy, and seasonal menu items.
Customers can choose from a wide array of options that range from seasonal plates to sandwiches to salad. The company holds a strong value in sustainability, sourcing local New York products and using a line of eco-friendly products to serve food in all of its stores.
The Seasonal Plate comes with a choice of protein (chicken, salmon, and shrimp, just to name a few) and two seasonal sides over a bed of mesclun greens. Each month, Between the Bread highlights seasonal ingredient - for the month of August, it was Eggplant.

My Seasonal Plate included Poached Shrimp lightly seasoned with lemon and plump Scallop with Pesto Sauce. Both tasted extremely fresh and delicious! For my sides, I chose the Eggplant Salad with Blistered Tomatoes & Quinoa with Roasted Eggplant and Sun-dried Tomatoes. These were excellent choices that balanced well with my protein options.

I wanted to try additional sides, so got the Watermelon & Tomato Salad in a Strawberry Puree and Tomato Bruschetta as well. The Watermelon & Tomato Salad was the perfect option to beat the summer heat, while the Tomato Bruschetta had an interesting balance of refreshing flavor from the tomato and creamy texture of the mozzarella.
