Magic happens every month, thanks to KUNÁ. This NYC-based monthly event series is on a mission to create exceptional experiences by gathering a community of like-minded people for a night of great music and positive energy. I had a chance to attend one of the events last weekend and experience the magic myself.

KUNÁ celebrated its second event of 2020 at the Williamsburg Hotel. Upon checking in and receiving our bracelet, we were led to a big venue with iridescent lights shining against the backdrop.

The event lasted from 9pm to 5am, featuring a night of magic that allowed guests to be free and immerse themselves in the music. Some people had their eyes closed to feel the music with their bodies without disruption from other senses. Everyone seemed to have let go of their worries and concerns - at least at that moment, then and there - and enjoying the present reality surrounded by their friends and loved ones.

In addition to great music by the likes of Armen Miran, Dandara, MIICHII, and Oktave, the event included pop-up artists and vendors as well as a lounge where people could take a break to relax and chat.

Since its inaugural event in January 2019 that featured music from Armen Miran, Christian Voldstad, Oktave, and more with pop up artists and art installations, KUNÁ has organized monthly events at venues that range from a hotel rooftop to a boat along the Hudson River with the consistent theme of fostering a welcoming community with positive vibes.
