NR is where East meets West, where the past fuses with the present. Come for some delicious bites and noodles.

Located in Manhattan's UES, NR is a contemporary twist on restaurants that were found in traditional Japanese port towns during the Meiji Period, when Japan first became open to the rest of the world after nearly two centuries of seclusion. NR specializes in ramen - noodles of Chinese origin, and cocktails - first brought to Japanese ports by western countries.
Deviled Egg + Egg + Egg

You have never seen deviled eggs like this one before. The eggs are seasoned in dashi, wasabi, and karashi (Japanese mustard), and house mayo for an explosion of flavors. They are then topped with a generous portion of creamy sea urchin, caviar, and tosa vinegar jelly. The shiso garnish tops off this perfect bite.
Sea Urchin + Salmon Caviar Soupless Ramen

This fan-favorite, soupless ramen is tossed in premium dashi and house sea urchin paste, and topped with colorful toppings like sea urchin, salmon caviar, shiso, and seaweed. While the noodles were unfortunately a bit on the dry side and the amount of uni was lacking, the combination of all these flavors were like explosion in the mouth.
