Founded by NYC-based artist Gosha Levochkin, Dirty Hands is an art studio in Manhattan's Lower East Side neighborhood that offers fun, beginner-friendly classes like watercolor painting and the signature "tape shit," the most popular class.

Tape Shit is an hour-long class in which students can explore their endless creativity with just tape, paint, and hair dryer. The idea is simple - you place tape over a blank canvas, paint over, and dry the paint before carefully peeling off the tape.

The end product is absolutely mind-blowing: something you'd find at a modern art museum. The possibilities are endless, and no two artwork will be the same - from the shape to the orientation to the colors.
The instructor-led, free form class has no more than 15 students per session to maintain the intimacy. As an added bonus, students can sip on complimentary wine or energy drink to let loose their creative juices.
