Nestled in the beautiful Catskills just two hours scenic drive from Manhattan, the Emerson Resort & Spa is the perfect representation of the Catskills' breathtaking views, spaciousness, and superior hospitality. The resort, named after poet Ralph Waldo Emerson, evokes natural earthiness with its color palate and overlooks the Esopus Creek and one of the region’s most magnificent peaks, Mount Tremper.
Guests can choose between two styles of accommodations: spacious, modern feel at the Inn or the rustic, Adirondack style at the Lodge. The Inn is part of the main building and features spacious rooms with a contemporary feel. Guests can enjoy gas fireplace, oversized air jetted tub, and a private deck overlooking the mountains. On the other hand, the Lodge a series of three buildings located on the north side of the property. These rooms are reminiscent of a log cabin ambiance with modern amenities like tub air jetted and shower combination, coffee maker, and microwaves in some rooms.
Emerson property features plenty to see, do, and eat. Guests can spend the day relaxing at its award-winning Spa and indulge in special treatments like signature stone massage, Biotec Firm-A-Lift facial, and mani/pedi. Families and couples alike can go shopping in the Country Stores, view the World’s Largest Kaleidoscope, or enjoy seasonal activities like tubing in the summer or skiing in the winter. Don't forget to make a dinner reservation at Woodnotes Grille, which highlights locally sourced foods and craft cocktails.
