Located in New York City's hip Alphabet City neighborhood, Lamia's Fish Market is a multi-level restaurant that specializes in seafood. Upon entering the restaurant, guests may feel like they are inside a submarine. The restaurant includes a bar, a raw bar, and a private dining room, with each room flaunting a unique, whimsical and nautical design.
Ceviche Trio

The "Early Catch" menu, which is its equivalent of Happy Hour menu served from 4-7pm on Monday through Friday and 5-7pm on Saturday and Sunday, includes the Ceviche Trio. The evening's ceviche included snapper, scallop, and shrimp - all flavored with citrus juice.
Crab Cakes

The Crab Cakes is an absolute must. The dish features two perfectly pan-fried crab cakes filled with lump crab meats, and topped with pickled fennel. It is served with slightly spicy aioli for that extra kick of creaminess and spice.
Madagascar Prawns

From the sea menu that features fresh seafood by the pounds, the Madagascar Prawns were a scene stealer. These giant prawns, almost resembling lobster in size and appearance, were tender and juicy. They are perfectly grilled with a drizzle of olive oil and capers.
Salt Baked Snapper

The signature dish at Lamia's is whole fish prepared grilled or salt baked. There is a minimum of 2 pounds for salt baked preparations, like this beautiful snapper. Leaner than other fish, the Snapper is so moist and almost melts in your mouth. The chef filets the fish at the table side.
