After getting a facial and a back massage, Mom and I went on top of the Hyundai Department Store for lunch. There was a Japanese, Chinese, and Korean restaurant, and we unanimously voted to embrace our heritage and go for the Korean food. I forgot the name of the place, though.
I ordered the "Gondre Rice," which is basically spinach-like vegetables over a bed of rice in a hot stone pot. Mom got the "Ssambop," or rice with lots of banchans (small dishes) that you can wrap with lettuces and other greens. Korean food is always a feast! As you can tell, I am a huge fan of hot stone pot and the crunchy rice at the bottom. This lunch tasted so healthy and delicious. The food itself was nothing spectacular, but just good Korean food that I never get sick of.
The lunch also included bulgogi. It was a bit too watery and the meat had too much fat, but still pretty good for a side dish.
