This trendy Korean restaurant welcomed a third location on the corner of 28th Street and 6th Avenue with a menu that highlights the best of Barn Joo.

Highlighting the use of farm-to-table ingredients, Barn Joo delights diners with an array of Korean-inspired small to large plats ranging from fried chicken wings to bibimbap. Barn Joo, which already has two locations in Union Square and Herald Square, recently opened its third location in the heart of Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood.
Silky Tofu

The Silky Tofu is a light, refreshing appetizer perfect for the summer heat. The dish features thinly sliced soft tofu over a pool of sesame oil, and generously topped with crunchy flakes, tomatoes, microgreens, and seaweed.
Open Roll
Open Rolls are a must-order at Barn Joo Nomad. Choose from a wide variety of selections ranging from eel and galbi (Korean short rib) to shrimp tempura and uni. The open rolls are complemented with various toppings and sauces like colorful tobiko and spicy gochujang sauce. The rolls are served with a side of heart-warming bone marrow soup.
Pasta Nomad Noir

A dish that's unique to Barn Joo NoMad, the Pasta Nomad Noir features a generous portion of squid ink linguini topped with crab, mussels, squid, and shrimp. The pasta is tossed in spicy red sauce, which is balanced out by creamy aioli. Each bite is like diving into an ocean.
Korean Shaved Ice

Top off the culinary experience with this traditional Korean dessert called Bings. Over a bed of finely shaved ice are various sweet toppings that include red bean, almond flakes, kiwi, strawberry, raspberries, and mochi. The shaved ice comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for that perfect sweet note.
