I Tried It: An Iconic, Trendy Steakhouse Perched On The Rooftop With A Breathtaking View

Here are some of the highlights from my STK Rooftop experience.

Blue Iceberg

Put away the notion that salad is boring. The refreshing iceburg lettuce is topped with Nueske's applewood smoked bacon, Point Reyes blue cheese, and cherry tomato with ranch sauce for an explosion of flavors in your mouth.

Lil Brgs

Too cute to eat, yet it's so delicious you won't regret it. The sliders are made with Wagyu beef, and smothered in STK's special sauce in between savory sesame seed buns with tomato and pickles.

Crispy Calamari

Breaded and deep fried to perfection, the crispy calamari is paired with basil and shishito peppers and accompanied by a duo of lime aioli and Asian chili sauce.

Tuna Tartare

On top of chunks of ripe Hass avocado is fresh sashimi of tuna with crispy taro chips. The soy-honey emulsion underneath adds the final touch to this appetizer.

Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass

While STK may be known for its selection of meat, don't bypass the seafood item. The melt-in-your-mouth Chilean sea bass is served with sauteed bok choy with ginger, crispy shallots, and Thai basil.

Mushroom and Truffle Tagliatelle

Al dente tagliatelle pasta is tossed in creamy Alfredo sauce with Pecorino, braised mushrooms, and baby spinach with shavings of black truffle.

Filet and Lobster Tail

For the ultimate Surf and Turf experience, try this duo of filet mignon cooked to your liking and lobster tail. For an elevated experience, add on one of the signature butters that they torch and melt right in front of you.

Dessert Platter

No matter how full, there is always room for dessert. The decadent desserts at STK include the classic New York cheesecake with raspberry coulis and berries, warm Apple Pie topped with cinnamon crumble and maple creme fraiche, rich Chocolate Cake with chocolate ganache sauce and pieces of truffle, Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie on a pan with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, and Bag O' Donuts featuring bite sized mini donuts in cinnamon sugar with dulce de leche, raspberry, and chocolate dipping sauces.
