
Since opening its first international location in NYC's Union Square, TsuruTonTan - originally from Osaka and specializing in handmade udon, has delighted diners with its refined presentation, utmost hospitality, and - of course - delicious food. The signature TsuruTonTan Deluxe features your choice of thick or thin udon noodles topped with shrimp and vegetable tempura, beef short plate, chicken, and eggs in dashi broth. TsuruTonTan has mastered the art of udon, which is made in-house everyday using carefully selected blend of flour from Japan. The dashi broth is a unique mix of kombu kelp and bonito with various soy sauces to exude that perfect umami flavor.

Another standout is the Uni Ikura Hotate Udon from the cold noodle menu, which is recommended with thin noodles. As the name suggests, this udon is topped with generous amount of creamy uni, ikura, and fresh scallop with shiso and seaweed in dashi soy broth.
In addition to noodles, TsuruTonTan also offers sushi and other Japanese delicacies. Try the Uni Corn, a deep-fried cone stuffed with edamame hummus and ikura and topped with fresh uni and caviar.
