Described as "a sultry summer dance affair," La Luna celebrated intimate summer season with music from The Black Madonna, DJ Harvey, DJ Tennis, Moodymann, and many more.
The Knockdown Center in Queens transformed into a venue for a summer music festival this weekend. Guests at La Luna, a party with a spirit, enjoyed dancing in the presence of house and disco royalty at this all-day and all-night mini-festival.
Party-goers began trickling in to the venue around 4pm when the festival officially kicked off. La Luna featured 5 different stages throughout the night, from the outdoor Solar Stage to the Jungle Ruins to the Basement late into the night.
Each stage and room had a different vibe, but all shared one thing in common and that was the positive energy and enthusiasm from the crowd who were enjoying the music and beautiful company of others.
In case people got hungry and thirsty, there were plenty of options to satisfy those desires. There was free water station, along with fan-favorites like Matchabar, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Burger Spot, and more.
